For many ports this is a challenge because of the disparate system formats that are being used by different port units – making it difficult for a system-to-system communication.
A further challenge is the cost involved in leveraging the compatibility of current disparate systems to enable a seamless electronic exchange of information.
SRS has invested in approaching both these challenges by developing the SRS eFAL®. A solution featuring a common platform to enable electronic exchange of information between disparate systems on the submission of the mandatory IMO FAL Forms that are to be submitted by the Vessel or their representatives to the port of arrival or departure respectively.
These consist of the declarations of Health, Advance Notification of Waste to be Delivered, SOLAS Security Report, Electronic Cargo Manifest Waste., General Declaration, Cargo Declaration, Ship Store’s Declaration, Crew’s Effect Declaration, Crew List, Passenger List and Dangerous Goods Manifest
The SRS eFAL® digital platform allows for multiple methods and data formats to be submitted.
Transmission methods include machine-to-machine, data file upload or direct data entry.

SOLAS Security Report | Electronic Cargo Manifest |
